Les Bravades is a folklore holiday that takes place on May 16-18 in Saint-Tropez. It is a long-standing tradition that has been in existence for over 450 years. The three festive days are dedicated to celebrating the Patron Saint of Saint-Tropez, as well as the courageous inhabitants of the city who were always ready to rise up against the Barbarians to defend their peace and freedom.
Military parades, marching bands, dance shows, and picnics set the city in motion. The locals don red and white clothes, and houses are decorated with flowers and flags. This vibrant tradition of the Provence region is one of the oldest, dating back to the 13th century.

Жители одевают красные и белые одежды, дома украшаются цветами и флагами в бело-красной цветовой гамме. Это одна из древних традиций Прованса, происхождение которой восходит к 13 веку.
