2018 Harley-Davidson Euro Festival & Rolex Giraglia Cup

This year's Harley-Davidson Euro Festival takes place from June 7-10 in Saint-Tropez. The infamous rumble of V-twin engines can be heard throughout the city since the beginning of the week. The streets are filled with bikers who have come from every corner of the world to participate in this massive event. Their numbers are matched only by yachtsmen who have come to Saint-Tropez to participate in the Rolex Giraglia Cup that is taking place simultaneously.

The Harley-Davidson motorcycle parade will happen at 4:15pm on Saturday, June 9 at Place des Lices. You do not want to miss this remarkable event!

Les Bravades de Saint-Tropez (May 16-18, 2018)

Les Bravades is a folklore holiday that takes place on May 16-18 in Saint-Tropez. It is a long-standing tradition that has been in existence for over 450 years. The three festive days are dedicated to celebrating the Patron Saint of Saint-Tropez, as well as the courageous inhabitants of the city who were always ready to rise up against the Barbarians to defend their peace and freedom.

Military parades, marching bands, dance shows, and picnics set the city in motion. The locals don red and white clothes, and houses are decorated with flowers and flags. This vibrant tradition of the Provence region is one of the oldest, dating back to the 13th century.

Каждый год с 16 по 18 мая уже более 450 лет в Сан-Тропе отмечают праздник Бравада (The Bravades), который кроме религиозного значения символизирует храбрость местных жителей, готовых встать на защиту своего города. На протяжении нескольких дней проходят военные шествия, проводятся музыкальные парады, концерты, танцевальные шоу и застолья на открытом воздухе.

Жители одевают красные и белые одежды, дома украшаются цветами и флагами в бело-красной цветовой гамме. Это одна из древних традиций Прованса, происхождение которой восходит к 13 веку.
